Monday marked our third day in London. The morning activities for some consisted of free time spent shopping and viewing art at the National Gallery. After lunch we met with our tour guide, Mary, who led us to the Royal College of Nursing. We spent an entire afternoon in dialogue with representatives from the RCN. We intensely compared our health care system with their health care system, the National Healthcare System (NHS). Everyone became involved by asking and answering questions about each of our healthcare cultures. We were prepared with two presentations that spurred interest from the representatives of the RCN. The meeting was a great opportunity to collaboratively and openly speak. We, as students, were able to gain a great deal of information and cultural perspective from this encounter. After the meeting we were taken on a tour of the facility. We ended our tour in the library were we parted into groups to have dinner and explore London.
