- How much is tuition?
- IU East High School is free. It is a public microschool.
- Are classes online or face-to-face?
- IU East High School is an on-campus, face-to-face experience with both high school staff and IU East professors. While a large majority of classes will be taught face-to-face, there will be some online courses too that receive in-person support through the school day.
- What about sports/athletics?
- IU East High School will not have athletic teams, and students enrolled will not be eligible to participate in other districts’ athletics programs per IHSAA rules.
- What about transportation?
- Families will have responsibility for transportation. IUE High School intends to offer support in developing carpools and connecting families.
- What about lunch?
- Lunches will be provided. The exact details of food service are still in negotiation with potential vendors. Students opting to bring lunch will have access to refrigeration. Students will also have access to The Den, IU East’s campus cafeteria.
- Do you accept students with IEPs, 504 plans, or who are English learners?
- IU East High School welcomes students with IEPs and 504 accommodation plans. We also welcome students who are multi-lingual learners. We are committed to meeting each student where they are, and this includes addressing those needs.
- Do you accept students from Ohio?
- We are limited to students who are Indiana residents.
- Do you accept students from outside of Wayne County?
- Yes, however, you must be an Indiana resident.
