The Indiana University East nursing students have made it to London! We arrived early Saturday morning to London Heathrow (around 9am London time) after an overnight flight. It is very difficult to sleep on a plane! We met our tour guide, Mary, and took a bus tour to explore the sights London. We were able to snap photos of famous places, including Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, and Big Ben. The tour took us over London Bridge, and past the London Eye. Lunch was found in Covent Gardens, as we practiced exchanging our British Pounds for food. Many of us were so tired, we checked into our hotel and took a nap! We are very excited to begin exploring the city, and discovering the differences between the US and UK healthcare systems.
