Since we share one campus, IU East and Ivy Tech prudently share a lot of services. Police protection, snow removal – there are a lot of things that we do more efficiently together. One thing we share is the Library.
First of all, you have access to all of the library’s resources – you can pick up a username and password at the front desk. We have tens of thousands of books and thousands of videos. You have access to dozens of great databases through Campus Connect – in the library, you have literally hundreds more.
So, that’s a lot of information to sort through! Well, fear not, you’re not on your own. Contact us for reference assistance anytime – in person, by email at iueref@iue.edu, or by phone at (765) 973-8279. All of us are here to serve you, so don’t hesitate to ask us!
We offer all of our services to Ivy Tech faculty, too. Want to put something on reserve? Call us at (765) 973-8309 or email masloan@iue.edu. Would you like to have your class take a tour of the library, or have an instruction session? Call (765) 973-8434 or email emsambor@iue.edu. Want a LibGuide – a specific-to-your-course subject guide to help your students get right to the best stuff out there? Contact us at (765) 973-8325 or email smcfadde@iue.edu to request one! We want to do everything in our power to help your students succeed.
Ivy Tech and IU East are widely regarded in the state for how well our institutions work together. But we measure success by how much you get out of it – so drop by and find out what all your library can do for you. We’re just a call, click, or visit away, and looking forward to working with you!
