A new semester is about to begin and the IU East library has all the resources you need. However, if there is something we don’t have, there are a couple of ways you can get it. There is a great chance that if the IU East library doesn’t house a book you need, another IU library does. There is an option in IUCat to search all the IU libraries and to have one of their books be delivered here to the IU East Campus Library. You can always select the “All IUCat” option when searching for book titles and if the IU East campus copy is not available, then you can select the “Request This” button and request the pickup library to be “East.” You can access IUCat directly at https://iucat.iu.edu/iue.

If the book you’re looking for is not available at all in IUCat, or if you are looking for an article you can’t find in our databases, you can always request them through ILLiad 2.0, our interlibrary loan system. Over the summer we switched to ILLiad 2.0, so if you had used ILLiad at any time before the summer semester, then you’ll need to create a new account with ILLiad 2.0. You can access ILLiad 2.0 directly from https://974.account.worldcat.org/profile. The simple, new interface gives you more control over your requests and streamlines the process, so you can get your requests in a timelier manner.

Both IUCat and ILLiad 2.0 are also available from the library homepage at www.iue.edu/library.
