As we finish the 5th week of school, it’s not too late to plan for future assignments such as mid-terms and final projects. Check out ERIC-EBSCOHOST, the Education Resource Information Center, that contains more than 1,194,00 records and links to more than 100,000 full-text documents pertaining to Education. Just look at the number of results you get from searching “kindergarten or preschool or early childhood education.”
The Education Database by ProQuest supports the study and application of education across all levels of education, including early childhood, primary and secondary, and higher education. This database provides supports global study and research, including thousands of full-text journals, dissertations, and other relevant sources. The subjects covered in this database are:

Continuing Teacher Education is very important as it allows for educators to broaden their knowledge, stay current, and learn new skills to improve the classroom experience. Over 36,000 results appear when searching “continuing teacher education.”
The Department of Education collects data and oversees research on America’s school and freely makes available this information to Congress, Educators, and the General Public. From this website Educators can search for various grants, receive information on various laws such as FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) and IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act). You can look up data and statistics for K-12 schools and colleges/universities.
Inspire is Indiana’s Virtual Library. Inspire is a collection of academic databases and other information resources that can be accessed by any Indiana residents with an Internet Protocol (IP) address located in Indiana. From Inspire you can look up information about Current News, Historic Newspapers, and TeachingBooks.net TeachingBooks.net has over 165,000 digital resources that empower all readers to connect deeply with a book they are reading, gain new insights and understandings from award-winning authors, reinforce cultural authenticity and perspectives with diverse books, and cultivate a life-long love of reading. To use Teachingbooks.net users must access the previous INSPIRE interface located at the bottom of the webpage. Follow the steps bellow to access TeachingBooks.net.
