Are you starting research on a nursing or medical topic, but unsure where to begin? Let the library help! We provide you with access to a lot of cutting-edge scholarship that will make your research easier. The EBSCO databases CINAHL, MedLine, Health Source Nursing, and Health Source Consumer are a great place to begin. These databases let you limit your results to things like only full text articles, peer-reviewed articles, or articles published in the last few years. Say your topic is relationship-based care. They help us accomplish what we want and need to accomplish. The Library is committed to the goals IU East has established through the campus Learning Objectives. It makes sense – a library is place where you can into practice what you learn. Researching. Experimenting. Many of our resources are geared around these specific principles of what it is that makes an educated person. Reading. Critical examination. Understanding diverse opinions. Casting Call

Would you like to star in a video? The library is producing a music video to promote LibGuides. Libguides are a resource tool for specific subjects and courses. They include links to just about everything you need to do reliable research – books, e-books, articles, videos, websites. You can see samples at http://iue.libguides.com/. So we need actors (and singers!) for the video, which will be viewed on IU East’s YouTube channel. Most of the parts are entirely physical acting – there’s very little dialogue, if you’re nervous about delivering lines. Most of the actors will ‘act out’ using the LibGuides. And you’ll be famous!
