Girls, Inc.

Girls, Inc.'s mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold. Girls Inc. programming is designed to build girls’ capacity to become adults who are responsible, confident, economically independent and personally fulfilled.  They provide after school and summer programs for girls ages 6-14 in grades 1-8. The core of their services include a development and education based program designed to provide a safe, constructive learning environment for girls during the critical after school hours (1:40pm-6pm) and during summer (7:30am–5:30pm). Each day, 100% of program participants are exposed to a comprehensive age-appropriate program. Through these sessions, Girls Inc. provides girls with the tools they need to become confident and responsible member of their communities.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Richmond.

A nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization building simple, decent, affordable housing in partnership with people in need. Since their beginning in 1990 Habitat for Humanity of Greater Richmond, Inc. has built and dedicated 56 houses.

Wayne County Minority Health Coalition is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation and an affiliate of the Indiana Minority Health Coalition.  The coalition is dedicated to reducing and eliminating health disparities by providing health education, referrals, and health screenings to underserved populations throughout the county, particularly targeting minority groups.

The YWCA continues to evolve to meet today's challenges in eliminating racism and empowering women.
