Peace Walk to be held at Baker Park First Friends Meeting and St. James Episcopal Church have planned the annual Pray for Peace Walk at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21 at the shelter house on the west side of Baker Park. The event is to commemorate the International Day of Peace, also known as World Peace Day. Dr. Wazir Mohamed, assistant professor of sociology at Indiana University East in Richmond will speak about what the Koran says about peace.
