To process your application, we must have:

• an official high school transcript (contact your High School and request that they mail it to IU East in a sealed envelope) OR official GED test scores (contact the organization that provided your test to submit scores to IU East).

Depending on your situation, you may also want to submit:

• your SAT and/or ACT scores, however, beginning 2021, IU East is Test Optional. The Applicant will be given the choice at the time of application if they wish to have their test scores considered as part of their application. Test scores are required for merit-based scholarships.
  • If you listed IU East as a recipient of your scores when you took the test, there is nothing else you need to do; if you did not list IU East when you took the test and do want us to consider your test scores, find out how to request that they be sent to us for the SAT and/or ACT.

We are so thrilled that you wish to continue your education with us! While applying, you’ll create an account for the IU Graduate CAS application where you’ll have the opportunity to upload most of the required documentation.

Transcripts

During the application process, you'll have the opportunity to upload transcripts.  Transcripts uploaded to your application are considered unofficial.  Please request official transcripts be sent directly from all previously attended colleges or universities electronically to applynow@iu.edu or by mail to: IU East Office of Admissions, 2325 Chester Blvd, Richmond, IN 47374. Official transcripts must be received before we can review your application.

Additional Documentation

Each program has individual requirements to complete your application which may include a personal statement, resume or letters or recommendation. To determine what additional materials are required for your program:

• Log in to your IU Graduate CAS application account 
• Add the desired program
• Click Program Materials from the My Application home page to review and upload program specific materials to your application.
