The Creative Writing Minor will encourage you to deepen your study of writing and literature. An immersion in the writing of poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and other genres will allow you to see and re-see the world from multiple perspectives.
Whether your ambition is to publish a poem, story, or essay in a literary journal, write and revise a book, serve as a genre editor of Tributaries: A Journal of Creative Arts, or heighten your empathic and imaginative faculties through writing and reading literature, the Creative Writing Minor will cultivate your creativity and critical thinking, making you a more innovative writer, savvy researcher, original thinker, and desirable employee.
