The School of Humanities and Social Sciences invites you to an arts and music-themed tour around campus. You will hear from students about their current projects in graphic design, a live demonstration of creating ceramics on the wheel, showcasing brand new pianos in the music area and a guided tour of the Tom Thomas Art Gallery with artwork from the Whitewater Valley Art Competition. A reception to follow the tour with light hors d’oeuvres.

The School of Nursing and Health Sciences invites you to a technology rich tour that demonstrates how nurses prepare for health care delivery in safe spaces. You will have the opportunity to use or view a virtual reality simulation and observe and participate in the use of simulators to address real health care problems. A stop in the Center for Health Promotion will provide you with an overview of health-related services available on campus.

Human Life & Light Tour

The School of Natural Science and Mathematics invites you to a spectacular tour through life and light. You will examine the insides of a virtual, life-sized human body and experience looking at different organs and body parts in all their detail. We then explore microscopic life in soil and water, and the great variety of microorganisms. You’ll then see experiments that show us what makes up different colors and how fireworks work, as well as how different lamps look like they give similar light but are different.
