Ready for a career change? Become a teacher!
In just three semesters (Summer, Fall, Spring), we'll provide you with the knowledge and skills to be an effective teacher, work with you to develop a plan customized to your career goals, and guide you through the licensing process (in IN and beyond) so you're ready to start your career as soon as you've completed the program!

Transition to Teaching programs are subject to change due to state licensure and/or university requirements.

Summer II
Any course grade below a B- will result in dismissal from the program. All field placements are pass/fail. In order to pass field experience courses, students must earn a minimum grade in associated methods courses, successfully complete field experience course work, and pass benchmark assessments (BPA/TPAS/edTPA).
Candidates completing T2T programs meet all academic requirements for provisional licensure at the appropriate level in the state of Indiana. Refer to the Indiana Praxis Assessments web page for additional information on tests that must be taken for licensure.
Persons with misdemeanor or felony convictions may not be eligible for licensure.

Those who have an undergraduate degree (major) in the content area in which they want licensure must have:
