Criteria
The scholarships are offered to students who have demonstrated academic potential and are United States citizens. Cumulative high school GPA and standardized test scores for awarding each scholarship have been established by IU East as follows:

Award process
Each high school counselor will receive one Full Ride Scholarship certificate and two certificates for each the Pursuit of Excellence and Select Scholarships, and Scholars Award, a total of seven scholarships to award. High school counselors will enter the student’s information into the online forms found below. The counselor will choose the scholarship and enter one student for the Full Ride Scholarship and up to two students each for the Pursuit of Excellence and Select Scholarships, and Scholars Award. This must be submitted to the Office of Admissions by February 15, 2025. You will receive a nomination certificate for each scholarship. Please give this nomination certificate to the student when you submit your online forms. If the student meets the scholarship requirements and is admitted to IU East by February 15, 2025, the scholarship money will be credited to his or her tuition account. Students will also receive an official award letter from IU East outlining the details and renewal criteria of their scholarship.
Student commitment for acceptance
Students must submit all items to complete their application for admission or additional information they wish to have considered for scholarship consideration by February 15, 2025 to the Office of Admissions. This would include any additional SAT or ACT scores or updated GPA information. Upon confirmation that the academic requirements have been met, the scholarship money will be credited to the student’s tuition account beginning fall semester, 2025. While on scholarship, they must be full-time students taking 12 credit hours or more per semester. The total scholarship amount will be distributed over four years, provided the student meets the following renewal conditions:
- Full-time enrollment in a minimum of 12 credit hours beginning in the Fall 2025 semester
- Concurrent enrollment in the fall & spring semesters over the four year period
- Minimum GPA as listed on scholarship certificate
- United States citizens or legal permanent residents
Monies may be used toward IU East tuition expense only.
