Track & Field: Reynolds, Lowe to be honored Dec. 18

Indiana University East will honor two of its history-making track and field athletes on December 18.

IU East will honor All-America track and field athletes with recognition ceremony during the men’s basketball game on December 18.

Former Red Wolves Seth Reynolds and Justin Lowe will be recognized for their All-America track and field careers during the IU East men’s basketball home game against Huntington University.

Game time is 3 p.m. The All-America recognition ceremony will take place at halftime.

Replica jerseys for Reynolds and Lowe will join the nine other jerseys of graduated IU East All-Americans on display in the Nasser Paydar Classroom, located in the Student Events Center.

Seth Reynolds

Reynolds completed his IU East track and field career as a six-time All-American. He earned the honor in all three individual hurdles events (indoor 60-meter hurdles, outdoor 110-meter hurdles and outdoor 400-meter hurdles) and in the indoor 4×400 meter relay. He still holds seven IU East school records. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Human Life Science with minors in Chemistry, Neuroscience and Psychology in 2019.

Lowe earned All-America honors in the indoor 4×400 relay and also was a national meet finalist in the 600-meter run. He owns three IU East track and field school records. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies with a minor in Anthropology in 2020.

IU East fans should also mark their calendars for January 2, when graduated Red Wolf men’s basketball All-American Bishop Smith will be recognized in connection with the Red Wolf men’s basketball home game against Marian University at 3 p.m.
