IU East offers in Lawrenceburg a degree completion program in Communication Studies, consisting of 56 credit hours of integrated coursework offered over four academic terms. The semesters are completed in order and are organized by cohorts. This junior / senior level program accommodates graduates of IvyTech and other community colleges who have completed general education and basic prerequisite courses for the Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies.

Major Project
Students will complete a year long portfolio. A professional presentation is made during the last course. The portfolio integrates work experience and reflection from work, school, and life.
